The Highland Winds

clarinet quartet

Four professional musicians comprise the Highland Winds, a clarinet quartet. We perform programs in a wide variety of venues, including elementary schools, libraries, retirement communities, nursing homes, assisted care facilities, churches and synagogues. Performances have included concerts, educational programs, and wedding music.

Our young audience presentations are highly educational, interactive, and enjoyable for all to hear and see. For programs in elementary schools, a written script outlining the program content can be sent in advance of the concert date, providing the teacher an opportunity to discuss program content with students. We can also include demonstrations of other woodwind instruments in our program. The BOCES Arts In Education Program recognizes and supports the Highland Winds' presentations in elementary schools throughout the central New York region.

Meet the musicians.
